Food Garden Continues to Flourish
With the warmer weather I have added
organic sugarcane mulch to the earth.
Here we see lettuce, dandelion, parsley and marigold.
curly kale, bok choy, lemon basil and more marigolds.
self sown tomatoes growing up frangipane trees.
Frangipane trees along the fence will give summer shade.
They are a beautiful sweet dark pink so am looking forward to their flowering.
So many self sown plants are making this second year of my food garden journey so much less expensive and full of fruitful surprises.
The richer soil from all the additives I have worked into the soil, mulch, dolomite, seaweed emulsion, worm castings and dry shredded cow manure, is producing much stronger food than last year.
