Permablitz at Louise and Justins

The team stands ready to swing into action for the permablitz at Louise and Justin's home in Varsity Lakes.

Rebecca undertakes pruning of the grapevine.

Vanessa busily adds mulch to one of the new raised beds made from recycled sheeting.

Charles and crew recycle mulch and soil into wheelbarrows to fill the new raised beds.

Louise with Tiara and friend. They visited from up the street.

The chookies seemed to be enjoying the day.

So rewarding to see the new raised beds filled with lots of wonderful seedlings.

The food was great and everyone was so hungry and then John Palmer arrived with his exciting knowledge of plants and great cuttings for all to share.

Finally everyone came over to see my garden just across the street. Lots of great tips from this special collection of gardeners and a sharing of cuttings and plants.

Then off to see Monica's wonderful garden just down the road. Monica is from New Guinea and her garden is alive with tropical plants and exciting color. More sharing of information and some exciting cuttings including `yellow taro'.

An enjoyable, productive and busy day, I for one will sleep well tonight.
