So much to discover about real organic food.
Today Gold Coast Permaculture's Food Workshop for this week on oils, spices and teas, and a special dinner at Mandala Organic Arts Cafe.
Gold Coast Permaculture's lively workshop discussed oils, their qualities and uses and also introduced a wide range of spices and teas. Samples were shared and compared and many new concepts introduced.
This rice bran oil was heated with garlic, bay leaf, chilli, green herbs and lemon juice and then cooled for a wonderfully aromatic salad oil.
The gardens at Gold Coast Permaculture continue to grow and inspire,
and amidst the vegetables a group of lively permaculturalists.
Back in the kitchen lunch is being prepared, and a final coat of oil brings last week clay painted wall to full bloom.
What better way to finish a day of organic food than with dinner at the Mandala Organic Arts Cafe.
