Organic Food, Sharing & Ideas at Varsity Lakes Community Garden

Morning tea is time for a well deserved cuppa and chat on Wednesday mornings at Varsity Lakes Community Garden, and there is always so much to share, including organic seedlings, a recipe for non toxic weed mixes and a busily fruiting Mulbery Tree.

Yes those are my polka dot gumboots beside the mulberry tree.

Later in the garden some fun with Sheila and Judy as we admire the new recycled basin being added to the shared herb mandala.

The custard apple tree given us by Rebecca is really bursting forth in the ground and in a papaya tree a hive has just been begun for sting free native bees.

The cherry guavas are almost ripe. They are just such a sweet treat and lurking behind our Indian Pigeon Pea blossoms I spot Sheila and Chris.
