Abundance & Joy in a Food Forest
My food forest is a work in progress.
Sometimes I become impatient for results, then moments of joy surprise.
This Mulberry so fragile for its first year has now become such a strong tree and currently promises so much fruit.
Below it stands strong against the background trees.
In recycled basin water chestnuts grow.
I have a team of small fish called guppies to eat any mosquito eggs on the water surface and the netting is to stop cane toads from residing in the pond.
Below the small mango tree I brought at a market four years ago is now fruiting for the first time.
It does take patience but what joy in the effort.
